Hey there! I'm Ashton! I'm Konko, I love Tacos, I also love Coheed and Cambria (They're about as good as tacos). I'm really kind of boring and no fun to talk to. I apologize if it takes me forever to get back to you.
The Ferguson City Council convened for the first time since Mike Brown’s death, and proved that they literally give no fucks about what the community has to say. Added to their vague, paltry proposed reforms, seems real change will have to come in Ferguson via the ballot box. I don’t care where you live folks— let this be a lesson in voting/participating in your local elections and government! #staywoke #farfromover
My people getting it!
these people are the real heroes. not the military, not politicians, not the Hollywood actors. they risked their lives and livelihoods to challenge white supremacy and institutionalized racism.
i didn’t pick it to read right now nah i totes had a change mind so yeah i am reading it, but some input would be kind of nice because, well, it seems a tad odd
the way it’s set up
it was mentioned quite a few times in my internet perusing, and a lot of people were talking about how long/hard (i’ve been reading for 7 months…) of a read it is so of course i had to buy it
and i mean, it’s a big book, gotta be at least 500 pages (i didn’t check) but
let me show you
any input you can give me on what i’m getting myself into here would be cool
This is the best book i have ever read, it took months to read it and i couldnt even finish it the second time round, i seriously recomend it though
Definitely one the the best depictions of a writer going crazy over the material he’s writing I’ve ever read. It’s freakin creepy as Hell!
I remember a bunch of us learning about this book in college and picking up copies. I still haven’t read through it. It sits on my shelf to one day baffle someone else. If I recall correctly, there’s a music album that goes with it and supposedly increases the creepy factor. — Ah yes. Haunted by Poe (evidently the author’s sister).
Interestingly, most readers refer to it as a horror genre story while the author calls it a love story. …I tend to side with horror myself.
